Here is the list of kindergarten sight words. Practicing these words at home will help your child become proficient at reading these words automatically. Make a set of flashcards using index cards and go over them for a few minutes once a day. Another way to practice is to make a duplicate set of cards and play a matching game. Arrange cards face down on a table. Each player takes a turn flipping over two cards. Child has to read the words. If the two cards are a match, player keeps them. If not, the cards get flipped back over. Continue play until all matches are made.
